Biography

Monica Aldama is a retired cheerleading coach and star of the Netflix docuseries Cheer. She coached the Navarro College cheer team for 27 years, leading them to 14 Junior College Division National Championships and five Grand National titles. Aldama is known for her no-nonsense coaching style and demand for discipline. She's also written a book called FULL OUT and appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Saturday Night Live.
