Cedric Nairn-Smith
Biography
Cedric Nairn‑Smith is a British film and television editor. He began his career in the industry in the early 2000s, working as a production assistant and apprentice editor on major Hollywood films, including Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), The Sum of All Fears (2002), and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003). Over time, he advanced to assistant editor on blockbusters like Mission: Impossible III (2006) and Live Free or Die Hard (2007). Nairn‑Smith earned his first solo editing credit with the A&E thriller series Bates Motel, transitioning from assistant editor to full editor between 2015 and 2017. He subsequently became known for editing episodes of several acclaimed television series, including Amazon Prime's The Boys (2019–2020), Apple TV+'s Home Before Dark (2020), and Stephen King's Lisey's Story (2021) for Apple TV+. In 2022, Nairn‑Smith joined the editorial team of Marvel Studios' Moon Knight, working alongside editors Joan Sobel and Ahmed Hafez to craft the six-episode limited series.
