Danielle Dupre
Biography
Danielle Dupre is a re-recording mixer based at Skywalker Sound, a division of Lucasfilm. A graduate of the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, she initially pursued a career in recording engineering, working with artists such as Prince, D'Angelo, Mariah Carey, and Justin Bieber at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles. In 2012, Dupre transitioned to post-production sound mixing and joined Skywalker Sound, where she has since contributed to over 80 feature films and 20 television series. Her extensive filmography includes major productions like WandaVision, Obi-Wan Kenobi, 3 Body Problem, Top Gun: Maverick, Wendell & Wild, and Pieces of a Woman. Dupre's work spans a diverse range of genres, from blockbuster franchises such as Marvel and Star Wars to acclaimed documentaries and independent films. Throughout her career, Dupre has earned significant recognition for her contributions to sound mixing. She has received four nominations from the Television Academy, including Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour) for 3 Body Problem in 2024, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Obi-Wan Kenobi in 2023, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for WandaVision in 2021. Additionally, she was nominated for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Nonfiction or Reality Program for Laurel Canyon: A Place in Time in 2020.
