Jacob Ifan Prytherch is a Welsh actor, best known for his lead role as Jake Vickers in the BBC police drama series Cuffs. Ifan was born in Cardiff, Wales, in 1993. He studied acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating in 2015. After graduating, he began his acting career in television, appearing in guest roles on shows such as "Hidden" and "Doctors." In 2016, Ifan landed his breakout role as Jake Vickers in the BBC series Cuffs. The series was a critical and commercial success, and Ifan's performance was praised by critics.
