Biography
Alessandro Bencivenni (Salerno, 1954) is an Italian screenwriter. Born in Salerno in 1954, he lives and works in Rome. Graduated in Literature and graduated from the CSC, he began writing screenwriting in the field of comics with Mickey Mouse, then went on to write for the cinema with the director Neri Parenti in 1986 for the film Superfantozzi, with Paolo Villaggio, Liù Bosisio, Gigi Reder and Luc Merenda, written together with the debutant Domenico Saverni and the already famous Leo Benvenuti and Piero De Bernardi. With Domenico Saverni and Enrico Oldoini he conceives the successful television series Don Matteo (2000) with Terence Hill, Flavio Insinna and Nino Frassica. With Saverni and Maestro Mario Monicelli he collaborated on the writing of Le Rose del deserto (2006), a candidate for the screenplay for the Silver Ribbons.
