    Biography

    Toru Ohira is a longstanding Japanese actor & voice actor. He's well known for many of his Japanese dub performances, voicing characters such as Darth Vader & Boss Nass from Star Wars, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons, Fred Flintstone from the Flintstones, Pete & Julius from various Mickey Mouse works, the Joker in Batman (1989), Clark Kent/Superman in Adventures of Superman (1938), Jor-El in Superman (1978), Waternoose from Monsters, Inc., the Mayor of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the First Ancestor from Mulan. He's also appeared in many Tokusatsu works, being the narrator for multiple Super Sentei & Metal Hero series, and Chief Kurata in Spectreman.
