    Yudi Datau, M.Sn., I.C.S. (born on April 12, 1968, in Jakarta, Indonesia), is a prominent cinematographer in the Indonesian film industry. He began his career as a camera operator through the film Kuldesak in 1998. As a graduate of the Jakarta Institute of Arts (IKJ), Yudi is a member of the Indonesian Cinematographers Society (I.C.S.), a professional association for cinematographers in Indonesia. Throughout his career, Yudi has worked on various popular films and has gained wide recognition. Some of his notable works include Arisan! (2003), Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan (2006), 5 cm (2012), and Supernova (2014). His dedication to cinematography has made him a frequent contender at the Indonesian Film Festival, alongside other renowned cinematographers such as Ipung Rachmat Syaiful, Ical Tanjung, and Yadi Sugandi. In his personal life, Yudi Datau married actress Sha Ine Febriyanti on December 1, 2003. The couple has three children, one of whom, Fa Aisha Nurra Datau, has also pursued a career in acting. With his experience and significant contributions, Yudi Datau continues to be an influential figure in the development of the Indonesian film industry, particularly in the field of cinematography.
